Goodbye and Hello

2024 has been challenging for me in many personal ways, but as far as art goes it’s been great. Our ARTfuel program, FILTER & FOCUS was a big hit in Australia, Spain, Portugal and the US. We did have a wait list and for those who didn’t get a spot we’ve decided to offer the program online in January, 2025. 

The online version of Filter & Focus will include all the same presentations, exercises and demonstrations as our sold-out retreats…but in the comfort of your own studio. 

Our course breaks down the principles and elements of art and gives you hands-on experience simplifying composition, value and color. The hands-on part is important. It’s one thing to understand a concept, but an entirely different thing to implement it. Our exercises will introduce you to tools and ways to approach your work that have always been there but just weren’t on your radar. They provide guardrails to help you narrow your focus, and our painting prompts challenge you to apply the learning to your work. The result… your work, your voice, amplified!
