See You In Santa Fe?
2024 is well underway and I’m looking forward to the first of many ARTfuel Retreats! Terri Froelich and I will soon be heading downunder to Byron Bay, Australia for our March retreat.
This year, our teaching has a theme, “Filter and Focus.” It’s a deep dive into making art that feels authentic and alive by choosing the elements that best express your message, and turning down the volume on the rest. It’s taken some time to develop the curriculum, but I think it will be a game-changer for many artists.
A lot of folks have asked for a US retreat and I’m so excited to announce that we have one for you! We’ll be teaching Filter & Focus in Santa Fe, September 5-12th, 2024. This retreat is all-inclusive like the rest, but what makes it different is that you will have THREE instructors, as Kerry Schroeder will be joining me and Terri. With 21 artists, the teacher-student ratio here is pretty awesome, so there will be lots of one-on-one time.
The setting is a spa-like resort with gorgeous rooms and a circular kiva for our studio, nestled into the stunning New Mexico landscape. So if you love adventure, good food, travel, painting, learning, taking risks, and spending time hanging out with other artists, you might be able to snag a room, here.
I’m getting your inquiries about an online offering and I promise it’s on the way! This kind of thing takes time to set up. The plan is to have an online coaching community ready this spring or summer, but I’m reluctant to make promises because shit keeps going sideways! My dog ruptured his CCL and then broke his tooth on a bone, and I’m his nurse. My Mom turns 100 in March and I’m her care coordinator. It’s just life. Thanks for your patience!
